Art Instructors Wanted:

The Witter Gallery is seeking area artists who would like to teach in their area of expertise. We are interested in one-time workshops as well as long-term classes. Any of the visual arts will be
considered: ceramics, drawing, watercolor, glass work, airbrush, paper work, etc. The Witter
Gallery provides a limited studio space. Publicity as we are able to generate in the newsletter, on radio, in newspapers, online, etc. Teaching artists will charge their students at a rate to be agreed upon, 25% of which is kept by the Witter Gallery to apply to overhead and expenses. The materials the students may need to purchase or use will be the responsibility of the art instructor to purchase .

We are flexible about when you teach, class sizes, and age groups. The director is in the gallery :

1:00- 5:00 pm Tuesday-Wednesday, Friday

Thursday 1:00-6:00 pm

10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday

We don't have much in the way of evening hours yet.

A pre-registration form must be submitted to the Witter Gallery 2 days in
advance of the event showing the minimum amount of students has been met to keep the class from being cancelled.
